Variable Data Printing (VDP) can be produced more cost effectively when printing more than one image on a sheet. The more images on one sheet, the less cost it is per piece.
Problem: In an effort to include multiple agents located in seperate locations and with their own listings within one brand, offset printing each version was cost prohibitive.
Solution: By printing a generic brand identity on one side and digitally imaging the other side with each agents own specific images and contact information, they all shared in the production costs and brought down the cost per piece as well.
Mouse over the images on the left and below and note:
- 'Shells' are printed of one corporate image on one side for both cards shown here '2-up.' Actual production was 4- up on one sheet.
- Cards are then cut to singles, sorted and prepared to mail.
